There’s no question that the star of that day was Alvaro Sagredo Perez who smashed the course record for the A-Race with a finishing time for the 25 miles (40.235 kms) of 51:42 knocking 37 seconds off the previous record. His average speed was a stunning 46.4 km/h.
The earlier starters had the best of the racing conditions as temperatures started to climb later on, and riders began noticing that the wind was picking up. Ahmed Alomrani came second, beating Faisal Alshaya into 3rd place by just seven second.

Next Race
Friday 13th October, we are off to 21st Street for a hill sprint. The A and B Race will be combined as it is just 5.5 KM long with around 100 M of climbing.
