Lots to tell you about yesterday, so we’ll try to keep this one short. Perfect weather at Bonita, plus some tired legs from a 222km ride on Founders’ Day. A good turn out with many first time racers taking part. The race results can be downloaded using the link at the bottom.
Race Report:
The ‘A’-race was always going to be easier for those riding as a team as this course rewards those who can shelter from the wind by drafting team mates. So, Abdulkarim AlTamimi finishing 1st, Ahmed AlOmrani in 2nd and Faisal Alshaya in 3rd. A devastating attack by these guys on lap 3 shattered the field and the race was characterized by small clusters of riders tracking each other and attempting to out-sprint on the last lap.
The shorter B-race for women category, Aljawahara Almohsen finishing 1st, Florie Marinas in 2nd and Claire Charleton in 3rd.
For the juniors’ category, Abdullah AlAnssari was won the 1st place.

In race 12 looks Air Force Team back to the podium in the 1st place followed by UCT team in the 2nd place and Phantoms Teams in the 3rd place.
