Lots to tell you about Last Friday, so we’ll try to keep this one short. Heavy Rain weather at Midweek, plus some tired legs from Riyadh Marathon 2025. A good turn out with many first time racers taking part. The race results can be downloaded using the link at the bottom.
Race Report:
The ‘A’-race was always going to be easier for those riding as a team as this course rewards those who can shelter from the wind by drafting team mates. So, Bader AlMohana finishing 1st, Faisal Alshaya in 2nd and Jehad Alfairouz in 3rd. A devastating attack by these guys on lap 3 shattered the field and the race was characterized by small clusters of riders tracking each other and attempting to out-sprint on the last lap.
The shorter B-race for women category, Skye Tavares finishing 1st, Ogilby, Serena in 2nd and Afnan Abdullah in 3rd.
or the juniors’ category, Hamad Alzaaqi, was won the 1st place, Marzouk Albishi in 2nd and Alwaleed Shammout in 3rd.
