RW 1st MTB XC Race
With the cold weather and winds, more than 150 cyclists were in attendance. The atmosphere changed to warm with the sound of the start signal from the leader of the MTB Riyadh group Mr. Muhammad Abu Ghalwa.
Among the mountains of Ubayr, the first mountain race of the Riyadh Wheelers Club was held, with a distance of 27 kms. A group of professional and amateur riders, men and women, participated in the event, and the Filipino community was the leader in attendance.
The winners were led by cyclist Abdulkarim Al-Bashir with a time of 1:06:49, Jestony Sajot came in second place, and Michael Tabasa came in third place.
The prizes and certificates for winners of the first five places ( women and age groups ) were from The Cycle Hub Riyadh the official sponsorship of the event were honored as follows:

Open Category:

Veterans Category:
1st Al-Babtain, Anas – 2nd Fernandez, Felimon – 3rd Ramos, Randy – 4th Narandan, Alex – 5th batoon, collen.
Masters Category:
1st Abu Ghalwa, Mohamed – 2nd Daukes, Nick – 3rd De Vera, Cesar – 4th Detomal, Bernard – 5th Castro, Renildy (Eldy).
After the Podium celebration, Event sponsor AlKofeia Restaurant served us the best types of meals with a variety of Palestinian dishes, and they were sufficient to compensate for the burns that occurred during the race course : ) .
